A big thanks to head coach Matt Beasley and assistant coach Lizzie Greene for returning this year!
We are looking forward to a great year - Go Seadragons!

1. Swimtopia App: Download the App to a) declare your swimmers for the meets and b) sign up for required jobs. This is also where you will see all information for the season. We recommend syncing your calendar to the app calendar, for accurate meet info.
2. Jobs information: Attached is a description about the jobs needed at each meet. On June 1, jobs for ALL MEETS will open. Each family must sign up for at least 2 separate meets, 1 job per meet.
3. Suits and Caps: Suits information is attached, don't forget to order at B&B if you haven't already. Caps will be distributed the first week of practice. If you forgot to order one, we will have extras available for purchase before the first meet.
4. Practice times and tips: Review the website for the appropriate practice time for your child's ages. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to every practice to get caps and goggles situated. The first weeks can be a little chilly -- bring clothes for afterward. The kids do not need any additional equipment (kickboards etc.) Weather cancellations will be communicated just like this email through a Swimtopia email and alert.
5. Meet deadlines and info: The deadline to declare your child for each meet is Friday, 12pm, prior to the next Monday meet. You will not be able to declare after that time - don't miss the deadline! Meet arrival times and warm up times will be communicated every week.
6. Meet the parent reps and key volunteers: Please see info below, if you have questions and aren't sure who to contact. All questions via email can be directed to the BHF email at [email protected] and the appropriate person will answer your question.
Amy Schawacker: Amy is our veteran parent rep and liaison to the BHF HOA who graciously allows the team to use their facilities. If you have questions about the history of the club, the pool or anything related to the club in general, Amy is a great person to ask!
Shannon Hartwig: Shannon has 3 kids on the team and is a new parent rep this year. She will handle day-of meet logistics, including heat sheets and supporting volunteers on deck, among other tasks and logistics. If you have questions about meet day logistics, Shannon is your contact.
Katie Manga: Katie has 2 kids on the team and is a new parent rep this year. She'll handle communications, registration/payments/swimtopia, supporting meet-day needs, and liaison with the River City Racers conference group. Katie can answer questions about any of these things.
Shannon and Katie will also help Coach Beasley with the conference triathlon, which is 6/27. Save the date, more information coming soon.
